Birds of a Feather Flock Together

Today was a very exciting day!! I wandered over to the pond to take some pictures of the Great Egrets that I saw. While I was taking their picture I noticed a grey bird that I thought was a Great Blue Heron. I was using my 300mm lens and was quite far away so it was very hard to tell what it was. After I took the grey birds picture I noticed it was very small and there was a colorful bird next to it. I had found two Wood Ducks! I am obsessed with ducks and I have never seen those types of ducks before. I am really pumped! Hope you enjoy the photos! 😀

  2. I really like these photos! I moved to a place without water birds, and it just thrills me to see photos of them. Thank you! I especially like the Egret photo. Beautiful!

I have an environmentalist friend that I so would like to use the egrets photo for her birthday card next week…would you like a royalty, or could I save it and print it for her?
